Philippines – Diphtheria increase

Authorities are reporting a significant increase in the incidence of diphtheria in the Philippines, with around 200 cases being reported since January 2019. All travellers should be up to date with immunisation against diphtheria, which should include having had their primary course and then a booster within the last 10 years.
